Currently we are actively and agressively looking for new material. Our review, art, and publishing staff are ready to go, and if we like your book, it will be published within 2 - 4 weeks of submission. We do not give up any rights to your work and may remove your book from the site at any time with only eight weeks notice.

Although some writers might question going with a newcomer, the fact is we're not. We are the oldest major Internet publisher of erotica for women, publishing since 1998 - over six years now - and we are well known in the erotic BDSM community. For Wicked Castle, while we are primarily interested in romantic erotica (of the sort which we began publishing on our Wicked Velvet website in 2001) we will consider working with any author who has material he or she wishes to sell. We are particularly interested in published authors with out of print material, where the rights have reverted to the author.

Our royalty structure is simple: We deduct 10% from the sale of every book to cover our credit card processing fees, and then we split sales with the authors 50/50. We pay monthly - by the 21st of the month - for sales the previous month. We pay by check or Paypal. We issue all payment amounts, no matter how small, every month, and we deduct no fees for "processing" or writing the check.

Our minimum length is 15,000 words - there is no stated maximum, though it's unlikely we will often publish books over 120,000 words. Our categories are as follows:

Novella: 15,000 - 30,000 words
Novel: 30,000-80,000 words
Supernovel: 80,000 words and above.
